New Music Report – January 2026

As we start off a brand new year, let’s take a quick look at some of the new songs you’ll be hearing this January on WIVH.

Matthew West is helping kick off 2026 with his latest song “Good.” It’s a reminder to us that we’re good at falling down and making wrong decisions, but God is good. . . period. I think Matthew’s lyrics sum it up perfectly. “I’m not loved because I’m worthy – I’m loved because You’re good.”

We haven’t heard from Pat Barrett in quite a while, but I guess we can’t say that anymore. He just dropped his brand new song “I’ve Got A Fire.” This energetic tune (with a pretty cool 80’s vibe) praises God for freeing us and making us whole.

Zach Williams is releasing another single from last year’s Jesus Loves album. “Wait For Me” is all about the patience God has toward us. We’ll take the crooked path instead of His way, and wonder where He is. . . He’s there with us all along, and waiting to pick us back up when we fall.
