I have a friend who has a collection of nearly a hundred baseball caps. I'm not much of a hat wearer myself, although on a bad hair day or when it's really sunny out, a baseball cap be a good thing.
It seems like we barely put away the Christmas decorations, and now Resurrection Sunday is behind us. The calendar pages appear to be turning quickly and the things that we celebrate quickly move from "the road ahead" to the rear view mirror. What is it about us as humans that makes us want to mark the milestones like birthdays and anniversaries?
Take some time during this uniquely slower season to steady your heart and fix your mind on the work of Christ on the cross. We have many special programs for Easter to help you focus on the love and mercy of Christ at the cross and the joy of the resurrection. He is risen, indeed!
"To boldly go where no man has gone before." You probably recognize that phrase from Star Trek, first aired in 1966, and then in many iterations through the years. That phrase crossed my mind last month as we once again watched NASA land a rover on Mars. The successful landing reignited the conversation of putting a man on Mars. It's certainly a place where no man has gone before, especially considering the 6 months it takes to get there, even in a rocket ship!
Monthly gifts don't just pay bills, they create stability. When you give monthly, you're making a vital contribution to WIVH's ability to continue being the Voice of Hope in the Virgin Islands!

In good times and bad, it’s always helpful to remind ourselves that the faithfulness and goodness of God transcend all circumstances and situations! As Creator of all things, He has been on the throne since the beginning of time–through countless uprisings, injustices, pandemics, famines, kingdoms, and authorities. We see only a glimpse of what is going on around us, but He not only sees all… He is sovereign over all!
