New Music Report from Dan Close
As the summer heat gets turned up, be sure to turn up your radio and listen for these great new songs on WIVH!
With his first new music since 2017, Brandon Heath is back with the song “Human Nature.” This tune will help you focus on who we are in Christ: God’s children and in His family. Yes, we will make mistakes, but we cannot be mistaken – our heavenly Father loves us.
Back in April, MercyMe dropped their tenth studio album Inhale (Exhale). Leading up to the release, we heard “Almost Home” and “Say I Won’t” from the then-forthcoming album. Their first post-release single is entitled “On Our Way” and it features Bart Millard’s oldest son, Sam Wesley. It’s about our journey as Christians and when you hear it, we hope it encourages you to keep going – because we are on our way to something greater.
Zach Williams has released his fourth single from the album Rescue Story. “Heaven Help Me” reminds us of our constant need of God in our lives – to guide, direct, and comfort us.
3 ½ years… that’s just about how long it took Cory Asbury to write his new song “Egypt.” As you may have guessed from the title, it’s about deliverance – how God has brought us out of bondage to sin, to freedom in Christ. 3 ½ minutes… that’s just about how long it will take you to listen to this great new song – may it be a blessing to you!
These – plus new songs from NEEDTOBREATHE, Chris Tomlin, Elias Dummer, and more can be heard this month on Your Voice of Hope – WIVH!
