From Us to You March 2024

Ag-fair season may be in the rearview mirror here in the islands, but we have a lot to look forward to! Whether you went to the Farmer’s Agricultural and Cultural Fair on St Thomas in January, or AgriFest on St Croix in February, you know that the arts and crafts, livestock, and of course the food make the event special. 

The same can be said for Share-a-Thon at WIVH, which is just around the corner! The staff from our sister station, WRGN, are excited to be back on island March 12 – 18. We look forward to getting together with our listeners, worshiping together, and hopefully enjoying some of the Caribbean foods that we do not get regularly in the states. Every year we are blessed by those of you who come out to visit during Share, and this year will be no different, EXCEPT the location where we will be hosting Share-a-Thon.

Free Will Baptist Christian School in Sion Hill has agreed to open their doors to our Share-a-Thon hosts this year! If things go well technically, we look forward to being at another, different location next year! The plan is to bring Share-a-Thon to other locations throughout the islands in the coming years! We hope this will give many more of you an opportunity to get a behind the scenes look at what we do as well as meet some of the hosts of your favorite programs.

As we prepare for Share-a-Thon would you join us in prayer? Pray for safe travels for our staff and God’s continued provision for this ministry as we enter our 32nd year of broadcasting in the Virgin Islands. Pray too, that those who have supported the station in the past would continue to do so, and that others will come alongside to make this ministry possible!
