From Us to You – November 2025

New and improved! I’m sure you’ve seen that phrase on packaging, in ads, just about everywhere. The question is, how often does the “hype” live up to the actual product? I suppose sometimes it does, but other times it feels like the only new thing IS the packaging! That’s the way we felt here at WIVH as we sought to improve the equipment here so that you would have a better listening experience.

Unfortunately, for the past month, that has not been the case! A new piece of equipment we implemented did not meet expectations. As a result, our programming has recently been challenging to listen to. For that, we apologize. The good news is, we were able to pull that equipment out of service, send it back, and I believe we now have something better in place. I think you will be pleased with the difference.

The improvements are not done, though. Now that hurricane season is nearly over, plans are underway to replace the antenna and transmitter—important upgrades that will strengthen WIVH’s broadcast and ensure we continue serving the Virgin Islands for years to come.

We appreciate your patience, encouragement, and support as we work through the necessary changes to continue to broadcast the Voice of Hope in the Virgin Islands. We constantly hear from you that the music and messages heard on WIVH are helpful to you in your daily life. One recent caller asked about resources they heard about on Focus on the Family, while another called with an upcoming event and shared how important the ministry being done over the airwaves is. Those conversations are greatly encouraging to us, particularly in challenging times. Thank you! We are very grateful for each one of you!
