From Us To You – October 2025

You are loved!

There’s not a day that goes by here that we don’t talk about you! Whether it’s a conversation about a phone call we just received, an expression of thankfulness for a monthly gift as we opened the mail, or a prayer that just the right words would be spoken to help you as the team begins Connect, YOU are a regular topic of conversation here.

The last month has been frustrating for us, because we know it has been for you, too. You have missed some of your favorite programs that you enjoy every day here on WIVH, and we are working very hard to fully restore the broadcast and programming that you count on. I am so grateful to everyone who has been working diligently with me to help get things back to normal. I’ve been working not only with volunteers in St. Croix and our staff, but also with support teams in Italy and Portugal. And we will keep working and utilizing every possible resource to restore the signal to what you previously enjoyed—and hopefully even better!

Everything we do here, we do for you! We know the struggles you are going through, because we go through them too. We know the joys you experience, because we experience them too. We know the decisions you face, because we face them too. We know the importance of the message of Hope here on WIVH, because we need it too! The real reason comes from I John 4:19, “We love because he first loved us.” That’s right, God loved us first!

This is the message we proclaim every day here on WIVH. That our awesome God loved us so much, that he gave himself for us. It is this that brings about our ability to love others. (Ephesians 5:2)
