From Us to You – September 2025

One of the first signs of fall is the return of school buses! Have you seen your first one yet?

Back-to-school time can bring a mix of emotions. Whether it’s a mom or dad putting their child on the school bus for the first time, a student moving up from middle school to high school, or the beginning of an empty nest as a recent graduate moves off to college.

As you read this, you might be thinking of new beginnings from your own past. However, what you can see now as natural transitions of life may have caused some fear and trepidation at the time.

With this in mind, please join me in lifting our students in prayer, whatever their new beginnings may be this year. Last month, there was a national prayer initiative called Footprints on Campus, where parents and leaders covered every student, every school, and every community in prayer.

This month, we will see another prayer initiative called See You at the Pole. This one is student-led and student-initiated, as students from around the world gather near their school flag poles to pray for their schools, teachers, administrators, our country, and the world. There is renewed interest in this prayer initiative.

Let’s encourage it! In fact, let’s join them in prayer!
