New Music Report – August 2026
As we come down summer’s home stretch, there’s some new music for you as you tune in to WIVH. Here’s what we’ve got for August…
Jason Gray has teamed up with Sanctus Real to bring us “Land Of The Living.” This song was inspired by Psalm 27:13, and it reminds us that while we have an eternal hope, God is with us right now and is always there for us. Insider tip: listen for an alternate “Jason Only” version of this song as well!
It’s been quite a while since we’ve heard from Tim Timmons. He’s back with a new song called “The Way We Love.” Jesus tells us in John 13:35 that the world will know that we’re His disciples by our love for each other. May this song encourage us to examine how well we’re loving others—and then inspire us to show the love of Christ to someone today.
bodie (who was a runner-up on Season 22 of The Voice) just released his latest called “Go For Broke.” It’s a convicting prayer that puts us in our proper place – face down before a holy God, and confessing that EVERYTHING belongs to Him and exists for His glory.
When one of my favorite groups releases a new tune, I can’t go without mentioning it; Rend Collective has delivered “Evergreen” to us. Just as evergreen trees remain green through every season, God’s faithfulness never changes, and we can trust Him.
