From Us to You – September 2026

Go into all the world and preach the gospel…” That famous command from Jesus in Mark 16:15 to his disciples is why Christianity spread so quickly from Jerusalem to Judea to the ends of the earth! The disciples took that command seriously, and we should as well.

I have been doing some studying recently on the apostle Paul and his missionary journeys in preparation for an upcoming cruise we are leading to the Greek Islands in April of 2027. Paul traveled thousands of miles on the sea, over land, and on foot, spreading the good news of the Gospel in obedience to what God revealed to him on the road to Damascus.

We don’t need a Damascus experience to know that God has called us to “go into all the world” as well. One of the interesting things I discovered is that Paul never traveled more than 1500 miles from his home! That’s almost like flying from the islands to Jacksonville, Florida. Obviously, through his letters and those he reached as he preached, his reach not only went beyond the miles he traveled, but beyond the century in which he lived!

What will your impact be in response to the Great Commission? Here at WIVH, we’re using the tools that God gave us to share the Good News. One of our goals is not only to reach the lost, but to give you the tools you need to do the same.
